One thing you can try is going into Device Manager as an Administrator, locating your trackpad (which may not be clearly identified and use an alternative name such as PS/2 Compatible Mouse), right click and choose 'Uninstall Device'. If given the option, use the 'Delete the Driver Software from the System' option. I'm a Mac Gaming Enthusiast and i primarily game on my bootcamp partition on my macbook pro 16' 5300M. I have also bought a MacBook Pro 2011 mine is the 13' with intel i5 CPU.
Like you I have also installed Windows 7 via boot camp everything is working fine apart from the touchpad. When I scroll through webpages it is not smooth it jumps.
When I tap the touchpad once as to click somewhere sometimes it does not respond so I have to tap it again sometimes even three times!
I am having similar problems with my cursor jumping if I cant get this touchpad working ill be sending the laptop back to Apple if I spend a £1000 on a laptop I expect the touchpad to work!
It would be great to get some kind of offical response back from Apple on this matter. So take this reply as a BUMP to this thread!
